Missionaries
We
are sent by God to represent him well and lead others to him.
Key Idea: The Bible teaches that Jesus was sent by God to enter
humanity so that all people, places, and things could be restored to a right
relationship with God. Jesus entered our world and worked, ate,
interacted, and lived in such a way that those around him could see and
experience what God was truly like. As disciples of Jesus we are sent in His image to live like him: as
missionaries sent into our cities to represent Him and live as witnesses to the
Gospel. We do this by living and proclaiming the Gospel in everyday life.
Key Verse: 2 Corinthians 5:14-21
