Join us this year as Crosscurrent Kids explores the
seasons through the arts!

Dates: Monday, August 3rd - Friday, August 7th, 2009
Times: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Location: Virginia Beach Community Chapel (directions)
Who: 4 year olds (by August 3rd) - Through Middle School*
Cost: FREE! *

There will also be a Sunday morning service following the camp where the kids will show us their expressions of the arts throughout the service. This will be held on Sunday, August 9th at 9:30am at Linkhorn Park Elementary School, (directions)

If you would like to receive a CD of the music and copy of the script before Aug 3rd, please contact Amy.  It would be great, if possible, for the kids to be slightly familiar with the music before Aug 3rd.

* If you are in 9th grade or above and would like to participate in Arts Camp we would love to have you...please contact Amy Geary.


Volunteer
Arts Camp would not be successful without our wonderful volunteers! If you would be willing to help us all week, a couple of nights, or just one night, any time would be much appreciated. Please respond to Arts Camp with your availability. We will have singing/drama, dance, art/arts and crafts, rhythm, tech/photography/videography, and creative writing. When you reply please let us know where you would like to serve.  

* Arts Camp it totally free, however if you would like to make a donation to help cover the cost of the t-shirts, c.d.s, music, and other supplies we would be blessed by your giving.

People just like you enjoying meals, worship, prayer and social time. Devoted to weaving individuals together in Christ, we gather on a weekly basis and share our lives – hopes, fears, triumphs and disappointments. We celebrate, provide encouragement and support, and dive into relationship. It’s here in true community, that we experience real life, foster friendships and draw closer to God.

We are looking for people who can help set up and tear down for our Sunday AM worship service. No experience is necessary; just a willingness to serve and make our environment as welcoming and pleasing as possible.

Children's Ministry
As the amount of children continue to increase in the church we are in need of more adults who can help out by teaching classes or playing with infants/toddlers. Please let us know if you're interested in helping out with this significant ministry area.
