Worship Team
Our worship team seeks to glorify God through music and multimedia. They’re artists, vocalists, musicians, sound techs, computer whizzes and more, working toward a common goal – to worship of God in spirit and in truth.
Needs: Got rhythm? Soul? A knack for music, multimedia design or a soundboard? Put your talents to use on the worship team.

Children's Ministry
From toddlers to elementary-age, kids learn about God's love in Crosscurrent’s children’s ministry program. Our staff and volunteers create a safe environment where children can feel at ease, have fun and develop their budding faith. Committed to creating contagious followers of Jesus, our children’s ministry aims to partner with parents in the spiritual development of their kids.
Needs: Does a roomful of 5-year-olds bring a smile to your face? Have a flair for telling stories, leading games, being silly or directing playtime? Our children’s ministry is always in need of enthusiastic adults who have a heart for teaching, leading and caring for Crosscurrent’s kids as they learn about the Lord.

Mercy Ministry
Devoted to impacting our community with the Gospel, our Mercy Ministry team seeks opportunities to serve people and organizations in need. We’ve painted a crisis pregnancy center, sang Christmas carols in a nursing home, volunteered at a children’s hospital, donated clothing to homeless shelters and served food to the hungry. And, we’re always on the lookout for new capacities to serve.
Needs: New volunteers are always welcome. Come out and participate in a variety of organized social justice and outreach opportunities from Virginia Beach to Bluefields, Nicaragua. What's your gift? Use it to impact our city, and our world.
