The Word
God's word is truth; it is living and active and it transforms lives. The Gospel revealed through the living Word, Jesus Christ, and communicated in the written word, The Bible; calls us to repentance and ushers us into abundant life as we trust in Him. The word of God leads people toward spiritual maturity as the word is heard, read, studied, memorized and meditated upon. (Joshua 1:8, 2 Timothy 3:16, Romans 1:16)
Worship
Worshiping God is our response to His initiative in our lives. We worship and celebrate as we experience God working in us and through us. We worship God through prayer, writing, music, art and as we live lives that glorify Him. (Psalm 63:1-5, Romans 12:1, Phil 4:6-7, John 15:7)
Prayer
Prayer is personal and corporate communication with God that acknowledges our complete dependence on Him. Through prayer we communicate our requests to God, confess our sins to Him and give Him adoration, praise and thanksgiving. God desires that through prayer our trust in Him will increase, that our love for Him will grow and our lives will be more aligned with His will. Finally prayer involves us in God's kingdom and redemptive activities, reminding us that converting individuals and growing churches are His work. (2 Chronicles 7:14; Matthew 11:24, 21:22; Luke 11:9-12; John 15:7; Acts 2:42; Philippians 4:6-7; James 5:16)
Life Together
People need a community of relationships where they can be authentic, discover Truth, grow in maturity and be safely cared for as they walk through life. True community is more than a Bible study; it also includes prayer, fellowship, worship, fun, mission, and care. (Acts 2:42-47, Hebrews 10:24-25)
Missional Community
The church, as the people of God, was never meant to bunker in behind the walls of a building, but instead called to go out and penetrate culture with the Gospel. In love, the community builds authentic relationships that provide opportunities to share faith and impact culture. In faithfulness, the people use their God-given gifts to carry out the ministry of the church. (Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8, Ephesians 4:5-16, Colossians 4:2-6)
