Who: Daddies and daughters

When: Friday, May 25th from 6:00pm – 8:30pm

Where: Hilltop Community Church Sanctuary & Fellowship Hall

Why: To provide a fun, safe environment for our dads to take their daughters on a date!

Cost: $10 per person

Artist Discovery Series

The Artist Discovery Series is a vision birthed out of Crosscurrent Church in Virginia Beach & exists to engage artists & musicians in our city by providing a venue suitable to share creative endeavors & get new fans. Our mission is to reflect the love of Jesus Christ in our care for those who perform & attend ADS events. We believe our city of Virginia Beach needs a venue for burgeoning bands & artists, & we hope to provide a safe, hospitable environment for talents to be shared, discovered, & enjoyed.

We're excited to announce the lineup for our summer concert: The Rilke, The Aragona Project, & The Vicars! $5 door fee covers an evening of light refreshments and an intimate introduction to some of our city's most talented artists. Hope you'll join us on June 2nd at 7:30pm in The Gym.

Partnership Class Registration

The next Partnership Class will be held on Sunday, May 6th, from 4:00-7:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall at Hilltop Community Church. We're excited about the opportunity to sit down with folks and cast our vision for what a Partnership in the Gospel with Crosscurrent Church looks like! (Pizza and drinks will be provided during the course of this evening; childcare will not be provided).

To register & RSVP: First, please fill out this form by April 29th. Please approach this form with intent; it's important for us to get to know a little bit about you upon entering this evening. [NOTE: all forms submitted after this date will be kept for our next class in the fall.]

Second, please spend the time necessary between now and May 6th reading the following attachments. Your diligence in this will greatly help our conversation & discussion throughout the evening:

Open House

So maybe you've been conducting Crosscurrent-recon for a few weeks or months now and have compiled a nice list of questions you'd like answered.

Or maybe you've just been "dating" Crosscurrent and are finally ready to take it to the next level.

Or maybe you come from a more structured background and have been wondering, "What's a person gotta do to get a membership card around here?"

Or maybe if you've read this far you have some serious concerns:)

Regardless, we really do want to get to know you! We will be hosting an Open House in the gym on April 22nd during the 11am service for the sole purpose of meeting you, answering any questions, and providing clear direction as to what the "next steps" are in leading up to the next Partnership Class (May 6th). There's no RSVP, just meet us in the gym at 11am on April 22nd. For those with kiddos, take advantage of free child care and check them into Crosscurrent Kids before coming to the gym.

Women's Winter Retreat

We are so excited about our upcoming winter retreat—please join us! You don’t have to drive very far and can enjoy fun and fellowship while relaxing right here at the VA Beach Oceanfront.

We will be looking inwardly at our hearts and attitudes as we embrace the opportunity for a joy-filled life despite the highs and lows that we face in different times and seasons.

When: Friday February 24th-Saturday February 25th

Where: Holiday Inn Suites, VA Beach, North End

What: Please join us for a sweet time of fellowship and spiritual encouragement as we get away for a couple days to dive deeper into the Word of God and our relationships with one another!

Vision Casting for 2012

You're not gonna want to miss this Sunday (not that you'd ever want to miss!). This week Pastor Jason Roberts will be casting an exciting vision for Crosscurrent Church heading into 2012. Jesus has been doing some remarkable things around here and we want to fill you in!

You may have noticed that we had an Open House scheduled for this coming Sunday for anyone & everyone who wanted to learn more about the vision & mission of Crosscurrent Church. In light of what will be covered in this week's services (back to our regular 9 & 11am), we've cancelled our first round of Open House. We'll be hosting more throughout the year, but this week will be a great precursor to our upcoming Partnership Class on January 29th (registration info coming soon).

Christmas Eve

We're really excited for the first Crosscurrent Christmas Eve service to be held in a church building! We will gather on December 24th in our usual Sunday AM location (sanctuary of Hilltop Community Church) from 5-6pm to continue & conclude our Advent series, Come Thou Long Expected Jesus. We are also excited that the congregations of Hilltop Community Church & Grace Family Fellowship will be joining & participating in this special evening.

This will be a packed service, so please arrive early to find parking & seating!

Full child care will be provided.
